We can see in World War One the initial growth that America had and the potential pilots that it had to offer. Fast forward to World War Two and America still has weak aviation beginnings but realizes the potential of military aviation in war, and the US becomes a powerhouse in fighter and bomber manufacturing that helps the allies turn the tide of war in their favor. Additionally, American pilots learn how to take harness of their inferior aircraft to fight the Axis, and by the time America produces better fighters, pilots have greatly increased in skill further fighting the Axis to a higher degree. When the Cold War came around the US focused on quality rather than quantity, and an increase in fighter ability and bomber ability had largely increased. After the many innovations and productions, the US now stands as a top country in military aviation and will continue to remain that way for years to come.
